For today’s viewing pleasure we offer you this stunning 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 2-door hardtop coupe. Equipped with a numbers-matching 350HP 396 V8 engine and M20 Muncie 4-speed transmission, this gentleman’s street brawler is ready for action! An Investment that you can truely enjoy.

The 1970 Chevelle SS is considered by many to have been the high point of the muscle car era, in both style and performance. This car is representative of the way many muscle cars were ordered at the time: Big Block, 4-speed, AM radio, and heater. This vintage muscle car’s brawn is dressed neatly in an elegant Tuxedo Black body, and is complemented with the factory-fresh black vinyl bench seat interior. For that additional sense of stealth, this SS 396 Chevelle is stripe-delete.

To help complete the outfit, the original SS wheels are shod with new reproduction Firestone Wide Oval bias-ply tires—just as would have been supplied by Chevrolet when the car was delivered to its original dealer.

One could sit behind the wheel today and imagine the original owner’s thrill as he tromped on the gas pedal for the first time, leaving behind twin streaks on the pavement as the Positraction 12-bolt rear end delivered the raw power to the squealing tires.

When fun time is over, a modest press of the brake pedal brings the behemoth to a smooth stop with the factory-designed power disc brakes.
