The powerful 289 V8 engine with a brand new high performance Holly 4 barrel 600CFM double pumper carburetor jumps to life at the twist of the ignition and rumbles stoutly at idle. The completely overhauled motor runs great and the engine bay is a beautiful sight, detailed with a freshly painted block, brand new Cobra valve covers, a low profile K&N air cleaner and chrome cover, chrome oil cap, and Autolite battery cover.

Shifting smoothly through the gears, the Borg Warner T-10 four speed manual transmission gives you complete control and power on demand. Four into one full length aluminum coated headers flow into 2½” triple chamber Flowmaster mufflers with dual chrome tip exhaust pipes, allowing the engine to breath more freely, making for a quicker response. The Ford 9" rear-end with 3.70:1 gear ratio provides for improved low-end power and torque.

The black vinyl interior has been restored to original Shelby GT350H specs and looks spectacular. The brand new carpeting, Cobra floor mats, seats, and dash are fresh and clean with that new car smell. A Custom Autosound reproduction AM/FM radio with cassette was installed to maintain the factory look and feel. A Shelby Cobra tachometer, wood Shelby Cobra steering wheel, Shelby style lap belts, and chrome handled 4 speed Hurst shifter complete the GT350H original spec interior. True to the original, there is even the decal on the dash that warned Hertz renters that heavier than normal brake pedal pressure may be required.

No expense was spared in building this vehicle. The suspension was built to be driven. 620 lb. front coil springs and 5 leaf rear springs coupled with new KYB gas shocks give this Shelby a true feel of the road. A new Flaming River steering box, new polyurethane bushings, upgraded front and rear sway bars, export brace, Monte Carlo bar, Shelby under-ride traction bars, and subframe connectors complete the Shelby inspired steering and suspension.

Four wheel disc brakes ensure stopping power with maximum control while staying cool under hard braking. Vintage style aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in brand new Road King Intimidator 225/50/16 tires give excellent handling on the street or track.

From the functional Shelby hood and side scoops to the Shelby front apron and rear quarter window, the builder of this fine machine stayed true to the Shelby GT350H design. The body panels are straight and well aligned. The chrome bumpers and trim shine bright. All decals and emblems are in perfect condition. The Cobra dress-up kit and gold striping finish this magnificent machine and remind us of what Shelby performance and attitude are all about.
